We are always looking for Volunteers and Fundraisers, whether you are a company, organisation, or simply an individual willing to help!

The assistance of volunteers is crucial to all NIMBA's activities and there are opportunities available to anyone over the age of 16 to offer their time. Full training and support is available to volunteers and there is currently a need for volunteers to participate in fundraising, administration and support service activities. Contact NIMBA's volunteer co-ordinator who can provide further details.

Help within the Community

You can also organise fundraising events yourself with your friends and family such as a street party, BBQ's, Pub Quiz or sponsored events such as sponsored walks/bike ride/swimathons. You could even set up your own fundraising group and fundraise together to support local babies in your area.

As a company or organisation, you can help NIMBA in the following ways:

Company adoption schemes

Adopting NIMBA for a set period of time such as 1-2 years is an ideal way to really make a difference.

The fundraising team at Hope House will develop a unique fundraising package and PR strategy tailored to meet the needs of your organisation, and with a dedicated member of the NIMBA team assigned to your company all PR and fundraising opportunities can be effectively managed and co-ordinated.

Company Donations/Company Matching

Donating "directly" to NIMBA through a Charity Chest scheme or a Charity Budget using Gift Aid ensures a tax effective donation to NIMBA resulting in even greater income for NIMBA.

Companies can also decide to "match funds" to any employee fundraising. This can provide a great incentive for staff and enables the organisation and employees to work in partnership and achieve even greater things together.

Sponsorship

Sponsoring a project is a great way to increase awareness of brand, company and the NIMBA profile throughout Northern Ireland.

On-Pack Promotions

NIMBA on-pack promotions can provide excellent promotional opportunities for both parties and are individually tailor made to match the unique requirements of each organisation. They have previously included competitions, prize draws and token collections.

Gifts in Kind

Gifts are as valuable to us as money, as they ultimately reduce our expenditure costs and help ensure that all monies raised are targeted into areas where they are most needed. Previous ventures have included decorating Hope House and the donation of many kitchen articles by Debenhams in Belfast.

Secondments

By seconding a member of staff to NIMBA, you can provide us with professional help. Management training programmes often benefit from the opportunity to gain different perspectives. Staff can have the opportunity to decide which specific projects they find most interesting and wish to become involved with.

Corporate Hospitality

NIMBA have gained great experience and expertise in organising events for corporate hospitality. We have been associated with the management, co-ordination and PR of many high profile corporate events and have also been able to assist by using our charity status, media contacts and expertise to create successful and professional events.
